I'm a native of Southend-on-Sea, Essex, and moved up to Norwich to complete a degree in Fine Art in 2003. In 2006 I graduated from the Norwich School of Art and Design and decided to stay here in Norwich as I loved life here!

For some time now I have loved the styles and fashions of the 1940's and 50's. This all began after going to a rock'n'roll weekender in 2004 (I met my fiancé there!). I have always enjoyed making things and wanted to give self-employment a go so I started Flamingo Amy in early 2008 making hair accessories. I don't sell these on the website now but plan to again in the future.  

I also now work as a vintage hairstylist at Flint Hair, Norwich. I absolutley love working there, I cannot think of anything else I'd rather be doing on a Saturday!
